Known problems
- It is impossible to use hybride UDF/ISO file system, as wrong access rights
are set in UDF for newly created directories in "graft-points" mode, which
is used by Burn Files tool. "Access
denied" error appears during attempt to change into this directory under
OS/2 or eComStation. This problem was fixed in version 2.01.01a59 of CDRTools.
- It is impossible to use ISO level 4 (with national symbols support). OS/2 and
eComStation cannot get access to this disk if CONFIG.SYS contains
CDFS.IFS with parameter /W. Absence of this key disables support for
the Joliet filesystem, that is also unacceptable. The support for ISO level 4 is
excluded from DVD/CD Toys until this problem is solved.
- Mkisofs uses only ISO information, and ignores Joliet information at
the join of table of contents of several sessions during multisession recording.
Considering that it is impossible to use ISO level 4, all national symbols of
filenames of the previous sessions will be replaced by an 'underline' symbol.
- mkisofs crashes when appending data as new session into a folder (other
than the root folder), that already exists in a previous session. This problem
may be fixed in future versions of CDRTools.
- Multisession DVD-R/RW and
DVD+R/RW cannot be burned. Disk will be
always finalized and it is impossible to append data to it. This problem may be
fixed in future versions of CDRTools.
